In Memory of our son, Mr. Fredrégus A. Williams, we commissioned to design and build a grandfather clock. We ask Mr. Manuel Lepper to join us on this mission. We let him know what we wanted and the purpose behind the clock. Based on the information we provided and his skillful knowledge of clocks, Mr. Lepper was able to fulfill our wish. During the process of the building of the clock, we were kept informed by many EMAILS from Manuel of the progress and any changes that were made to insure the best finished product. To make this a most unusual situation, all of the correspondence was done by EMAILS. During the building of the clock, we received pictures. We also received pictures once the clock was finished. When the clock was delivered to our home, it was package so that no damages could occur during the shipment of its travel from Germany to Atlanta, Georgia. After opening and setting the clock up, we found that the designed workmanship and workings of the clock was far beyond our expectations. It was breath taken with joy and smiles!!!! Manuel, my family would like to thank you and your father for building us such a beautiful Monument of Memory which represent a part of our son's life. It stands tall and proud in our home. You were the chosen clockmaker for this mission for us and you have made my family PROUD and HAPPY!! I would highly recommend Friedrich Lepper GrandFather Clocks to my friends, family, and to others. Greetings Manuel! I've attached a picture of this most beautiful work of master craftsmanship in it's new home. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. As soon as it was delivered I opened the crate, placed it and carefully removed the tape and packaging. After installing the weights and pendulum, it has functioned to the minute since yesterday when I received it. I cannot tell you how thankful and pleased I am with this clock. I love the faceting on the glass, especially around the face. The way it curves is gorgeous! I tell you, there is not a nicer grandfather clock in the area. I'm ecstatic! Thank you again very much for putting your efforts into this amazing piece. I shall treasure it for the rest of my life. One day, I shall inquire about furniture. Hi Manuel, I'm so pleased to tell you that our grandfather clock has arrived in perfect condition. We we're a little concerned when it got held up at Frankfurt because of so many flights being grounded due to Iceland's volcanic ash, and we we're very concerned when the shipping company called to report damage to the crate. There was a puncture from the blade of a forklift. Fortunately, although the blade came close, it did not touch our precious cargo, and your good packing job, and my guardian angels saved the day. We were so relieved to see not a single mark on it, and once in place, we, and the neighbours who helped us get it into the house, stood back and admired your fabulous handiwork. It truly is a work of art, and I will sing your praises to anyone who inquires about its origins. I hope my great, great, great grandchildren appreciate it as much as I do, and I thank you for your part in the birth of this heirloom. I have included a picture to allow you to see your fine craftsmanship in the front hall of its new home. Dear Manuel Please find attached a photograph that hopefully shows the clock to good effect. We have now had the clock for approximately six weeks and to say that we are delighted with it is an understatement. We chose the clock over the internet and were slightly apprehensive about doing so and about paying for the clock in advance. However, after a series of useful emails with you we gained sufficient confidence to place the order for the manufacture of our clock. After about ten weeks we were notified that the clock had been completed and would be shipped to Australia. It arrived in a large box within about ten days of being notified that the clock had been completed. When the box was opened the clock was in perfect condition. The clock has been beautifully built and is a wonderful addition to our house. We have set the chime to the Westminster chime and it is a very pleasant and comforting noise to have resonating throughout the house, and we have not once used the silent night function. Hochzeitstag, durch ihren Vater angeliefert wurde. Nachdem er die Standuhr fachgerecht aufgestellt und in Gang gesetzt hatte, hörten wir die verschiedenen Klangmelodien, die bei uns gewisse Begeisterung auslösten. Die Standuhr "Modell Büren in Ahorn" ist wirklich etwas Besonderes, ein so schönes, wertvolles "Möbelstück", passend zu unseren Möbeln, im Wohnzimmer zu haben. Begonnen hat alles damit, dass in einer kleinen Ecke meines Wohnzimmers noch der letzte Pfiff fehlte. Nach einigen Überlegungen entschied ich mich für eine Standuhr. Auf der Suche im Internet landete ich auf der Homepage der Fa. Lepper und fand die Standuhr "Berlin", in die ich mich sofort "verliebte"; -Farbe: schwarz, gerade Linienführung ohne Schnörkel, modernes Aussehen und dann der Kontrast zum weißen runden Emailleziffernblatt, dem silbernen Gitterpendel sowie den silbernen Gewichten. -einfach sagenhaft!- Als ich dann noch las, dass ein Kieninger-Uhrwerk (in meinen Augen ein sehr gutes Qualitätsuhrwerk) eingebaut wird, war die Standuhr schon so gut wie gekauft. Der sehr nette Kontkt zu dem Schreinerei-Familienunternehmen-Vater Lepper u. Sohn Lepper- sowie der echt faire Preis rundeteten so meinen Interneteinkauf zu einem sehr schönen Erlebnis ab. Die Holzverarbeitung des Gehäuses ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig, dies sieht man auf den dargestellten Fotos im Internet nicht unbedingt. Der Westminsterklang ist mittels des eingebauten Resonanzkastens voluminös aber nicht aufdringlich. Mittels Kompensationspendel ließ sich meine Uhr -bis jetzt (8Wochen)- auf +-10 Sek./Monat Gangabweichung einstellen. Die Standuhr "Berlin" der Fa. Lepper ist eine rundum sehr schöne Uhr, die ich jedem, der eine kleine Ecke im Wohnzimmer frei hat, nur empfehlen kann. Übrigens: "In Natura" sieht die Berlin noch viel schöner aus als auf den Fotos! Einer meiner Wünsche war schon immer eine Eckstanduhr, da ich den idealen Platz dafür habe. Nach einer intensiven Suche fand ich im Internet die Firma Lepper Hompage. Sofort wurde mir klar das diese Art von Standuhren genau meinen Vorstellungen entsprachen. Es kam kurz darauf zur Kontaktaufnahme und im weiteren zum Geschäftsabschluss. Besonders erscheint mir erwähnenswert das die Firma bei etweiligen Fragen bis weit nach der Eröffnungszeiten (Sa, So) rasch antwortete. Die Uhr wurde eigens angefertigt und entspricht keiner Massenware. Die Anfertigungsdauer wurde genau eingehalten. Nach Fertigstellung wurden mir Bilder über Mail gesendet um mich davon zu überzeugen. Die Lieferung erfolgte nach Zahlung der 2. Rate über eine Zustellerfirma pünktlich und verlässlich. Die Eckstanduhr wurde in einer eigens dafür gemachten Transportkiste nach Österreich gesendet dadurch kam es zu keinen Transportschäden. Eine Beschreibung bezüglich Zusammenbau, der sehr einfach war wurde beigelegt. Die Verarbeitung ist unwahrscheinlich detailgetreu, genau und entspricht den dargestellten Fotos der Homepage. Zusammenfassend kann ich diese Firma mehr als empfehlen, und wünsche dir Manuel und deinen Mitarbeiter noch viele Geschäft und Freude an der Arbeit. Danke und Gruß Robert

Sehr geehrter Hr. Lepper, zuerst einmal vielen lieben Dank! Am Donnerstag sind wir von unserer Spedition informiert worden, daß die Uhr angekommen ist. Am Freitag hat sie mein Vater gleich direkt von dort abgeholt. Das hat uns zweimal schleppen erspart! Nachdem das sich so gut ausgegangen ist, daß sie schon letzte Woche gekommen ist, haben sie meine Eltern gleich am Wochenende an ihren schlussendlichen Standort mitgenommen. Das ist nämlich nochmals 150 km von Wien entfernt. Jetzt steht sich zwar noch nicht an ihrem richtigen Platz – dauert ja noch ein bißchen – aber ich glaub sie fühlt sich schon ganz wohl . Meine Mutter war auf jeden Fall hellauf begeistert! Kommt aus dem schwärmen gar nicht mehr raus! Was glauben sie, wie sehr sie dieses Wochenende bei der Feier mit der Uhr angeben wird ! Ich persönlich habe die Uhr noch nicht live gesehen. Aber anhand der Fotos und der Erzählungen, weiß ich, daß wir ihr das schönste Geburtstagsgeschenk überhaupt gemacht haben. I have been wanting a grandfather clock for a long while but never found any i liked until i discovered the website germangrandfatherclocks.com so i e-mailed them and received some information and prices and I'm so glad i did. When i received my new grandfather clock it was well secured inside its box and assembly was very straight forward with English instructions. When she died she was a mother,a grandmother,a great grandmother and a great great grandmother. I am 71 years old and I think this clock is a lovely air loom to hand down to my sons,daughters,granddaughters,two great grandsons and two great granddaughters. Hallo Herr Lepper Unsere Standuhr wurde am letzten Montag angeliefert. Anvisierung und Lieferung waren einwandfrei. Ich habe diese dann am Abend aus der Kiste gepackt und aufgestellt. Sie lief auf Anhieb. Nun ist sie bereits seit zwei Tagen in Betrieb und läuft wunderbar. Wir haben sehr grosse Freude an dieser Uhr. Sie passt richtig gut in unsere Stube.
